Role Outline

We are currently recruiting for a talented musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team based at our client's sites in Gaydon and Whitley. The chosen candidate will be someone who is passionate about supporting the delivery of an exceptional occupational health service to our client, Jaguar Land Rover, and be a strong team player. This is a great opportunity for a qualified individual to expand their skillset and experience in a supportive team environment.
 

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have begun introducing onsite 'Centres for Wellbeing' (CfW) at 6 of their UK sites. The CfWs will provide a 'one-stop-shop' for reactive and preventative support for their employees covering three Wellbeing Pillars: MIND, BODY and LIFE.

 

The CfWs aim is to minimise employee illness, injury, and absence, whilst also working hard to restore function, both physical and psychological, after injury or illness. These services augment and work alongside the current OH referral process.

 

Health Partners Group are a chosen provider to support the introduction and ongoing management of the BODY Pillar across these new CfWs, presenting unique opportunities to be involved with this ground-breaking project from its inception. Not only will you be providing the highest levels of patient care for people in need of musculoskeletal health support, you will also get the opportunity to work collaboratively with other equally passionate healthcare professionals from the MIND and LIFE Pillars.

 

This role is full time (37 hours per week); the working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7.30am until 4pm and early finish Fridays, between the hours of 7.30am to 12.30pm. 

 


What you'll be doing:

  • Providing accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to employees suffering from musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries and/or disorders
  • Classifying presenting clinical MSK disorders into work relatedness categories
  • Providing reports to Management following assessment and at time of discharge indicating employee’s fitness to work and any adjustments to their role that may be required short term, long term or permanently
  • Leading onsite exercise classes to rehabilitate employees with musculoskeletal injuries
  • Communicating effectively with the wider occupational health team
  • Conducting DSE assessments and providing prophylactic advice
  • Providing recommendations to customer as to what changes/equipment are required following a DSE assessment
  • Identification of hazards within the workplace and assessing the risk of the identified hazards causing or aggravating an individual’s musculoskeletal (MSK) ill health
  • Conducting ergonomic risk assessments with Safety Health & Environment advisors on-site to identify risks to the employees within a specified area
  • Providing the wider OH team with information regarding any work practice or working environment changes that are required on a short or long-term basis
  • Effective rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders, whether they be work related or not
  • Completing comprehensive assessment and treatment records
  • Collection of statistical information for report generation contribute/run health promotion events

Salary

The salary range on offer for this role is up to £42,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
