We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join the Psych Health private psychiatry service – a vital part of our innovative and growing Psychiatric Pathway Team. The service can be tailored to your needs and delivered remotely using telehealth tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote assessments and ongoing treatment for individuals with a wide variety of mental health disorders accessing our private psychiatry pathway.
  • Manage a mix of new and follow-up patient consultations, referring patients to our in-house Psychologist Therapists where appropriate.
  • Produce strong clinical reports with detailed assessments and recommendations, and provide medical advisory support to clients across a variety of sectors.
  • (Optional) Deliver occupational psychiatry services if you have relevant experience or wish to develop this interest (ee can support you obtaining DipOccMed).
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care is provided (over 100 Physicians working together).

What we are looking for

 

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatrist who shares our passion for improving mental health outcomes. In order to apply, you must be a qualified Psychiatrist with a medical degree, GMC registration, and inclusion on the Specialist Register as a Psychiatrist.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with adults with mental health disorders and a proven track record as an Accredited Specialist in Psychiatry. You will have experience working successfully within a multidisciplinary team and a strong understanding of UK legislation and case law relevant to the scope of practice. 


Experience conducting remote assessments and consultations is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess a broad understanding of psychological symptoms and conditions, strong clinical report-writing skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. Additionally, experience in psychiatry service development and leading medical advisory work for clients across different sectors would be an advantage.

Hours

We are able to consider both part-time (minimum 2 days/15hours) or full-time (37.5 hours) applications for this remote role, working 7.5 hours per day on your chosen days between Monday to Friday, with flexibility between our core hours of 8am to 6pm.
