Role Outline

Health Partners have an exciting new opportunity for a new Psychiatrist to join our talented multidisciplinary occupational health team. Reporting to the Medical Director, you will work alongside and support colleagues in the Psychiatry team with the provision of high quality professional psychiatry care, making a lasting impact to our clients.  The service supports referrals through the Occupational Health Pathways and as part our private psychiatry service.

 

You will remotely assess and provide ongoing treatment to patients who present with a wide variety of disorders, such as Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and more. The role will be a mix of new and follow up patients. You will also have the ability to refer patients to our inhouse Psychological Therapists (as part of our Psych Health division) and will have dedicated administrative support to help ensure your time is spent being a clinician.

 

We require you to have a medical degree and be registered with the GMC, registered on the Specialist Register as a Psychiatrist.

 

You will have previous experience working with adults with mental health disorders and have worked successfully as part of a multidisciplinary team, with knowledge of UK legislation and caselaw relevant to scope of practice. Experience conducting assessments and consultations with patients remotely is ideal.

 

We are able to consider both part-time (minimum 3 days/22.5 hours) or full-time (37.5 hours) applications for this remote role, working 7.5 hours per day on your chosen days between Monday to Friday, with flexibility between our core hours of 8am to 6pm.

Broad understanding of psychological symptoms and conditions
Experience leading medical advisory work for clients across a variety of sectors
Proven experience as an Accredited Specialist in Psychiatry
Psychiatry service development
Strong clinical report writing skills
Strong problem-solving skills
