Role Outline

We are looking for an Occupational Health Physician who is looking to combine remote case management with onsite work 1-2 days a week in Somerset and Devon.

The role of Occupational Health Physician is to provide clinical leadership, clinical governance and maintenance of professional standards and to lead on the development of services and management information for clients. You will be an accomplished report writer and confident with IT and dictation software. Undertaking case management  and providing expert advice for Health Surveillance escalations to ensure our client employees receive the best possible advice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional leadership across all clinical domains
  • Creating and maintaining effective clinical governance processes
  • Developing and evolving innovative clinical services and products
  • Contributing to the
  • strategic development of the company
  • Developing training services for external clients and for internal professional resources
  • Developing effective management information for clients
  • Developing effective clinical audit processes
  • Clinical service delivery, consultancy work, and provision of professional advice to HP staff and clients
  • Management of medical staff and oversight of physician network
  • Contribution to maintenance of appropriate quality standards e.g. SEQOHS
  • Management of staff as deemed appropriate
  • Membership of the Senior Management Team
