Role Outline

As a Neurodiversity Coach working within our dedicated Neurodiversity team, you will help to facilitate and deliver 1:1 coaching sessions to clients within a timely manner. The coaching will revolve around workplace tasks and areas of difficulty that clients are facing in their everyday work environments, relating to specific different neurodivergent conditions including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and more. For example, you may be working closely with clients to help them with coping with anxiety and stressful situations, executive functioning, concentration, time management, prioritising workload and creating a suitable work-life balance.

 

This is a part time position, where the successful candidate will work 3 days (22.5 hours) per week, 7.5 hour days with flexibility between our core hours of 8am and 6pm.

 

The role is home-based, although some travel may be required to client sites throughout the UK as and when required.

 

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Facilitating and delivering both 1:1 and co-coaching sessions (with line manager and employee).
  • Creating and providing appropriate resources for the coachees to support their development through the coaching sessions, for example recommending and delivering training on different Assistive Technologies.
  • Identifying and making suitable recommendations for appropriate accommodations that will make a lasting impact to the employee.
  • Writing high quality reports following workplace needs assessments, and submitting these within the agreed timeframes to clients.
  • Updating of the database to ensure timely billing of strategy coaching sessions.

Qualifications and Essential Skills

Qualifications may vary. It is a minimum requirement to have at least one of the below: 

  • A recognised coaching qualification, with a minimum requirement of Level 5 or equivalent 
  • Bachelor of Psychology, Coaching or equivalent  
  • Masters of Psychology, Coaching or equivalent  

 

In addition, you should also have:

  • Trade Membership(s) such as International Coaching Federation (ICF) Credential (ACC, PCC or MCC), Association for coaching (AC), British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), European Mentoring and Coaching Council UK (EMCC UK), International Authority for Professional Coaching and Mentoring (IAPC&M), BPS, ABP, HCPC  
  • A minimum of 60 hours of neurodiversity coaching experience  
  • Applied experience in Neurodivergence (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, DCD)

Salary

The salary for this role is up to £36,000 FTE, depending on experience and qualifications, pro rata to days worked.
