Role Outline

As a Business Psychologist, you will work closely with clients and employers to conduct workplace needs assessments, understanding their concerns and identifying barriers faced by employees. In this role, you will provide evidence-based recommendations for reasonable adjustments and assist clients on their neuro-inclusive journey. You will also act as a consultant, delivering tailored solutions to help organisations implement inclusive practices, policies, and interventions. With a strong focus on collaboration, you will play a pivotal role in improving workplace environments and supporting employees to thrive in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical:

  • Conduct workplace needs assessments through client and employer consultations (Virtually or in person, when required), ensuring client needs and workplace challenges are fully understood and addressed.
  • Identify employee challenges and barriers, and provide tailored recommendations for meaningful, reasonable adjustments.
  • Manage complex cases involving multifaceted needs
  • Leverage your knowledge of assistive technologies, specialist equipment, and workplace solutions to support employees in their specific roles.
  • Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, doctors, occupational health teams) to create holistic support plans.
  • Meet SLAs by completely highly accurate reports within the agreed timescales
  • Deliver engaging one-to-one coaching and group training sessions to support employees and employers.
  • Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports within agreed timeframes, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Develop and deliver workshops, webinars, and other resources to promote neuroinclusion in the workplace.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction levels
  • Positively contributing to the team’s contracted KPI targets

 

Clinical Supervision and Team Development

  • Provide clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists and Workplace Needs Assessors, in line with supervision frequency standards.
  • Create a supportive and reflective space during supervision, promoting ethical, person-centred practice.
  • Guide supervisees in addressing clinical and workplace-related challenges, offering feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the continuous clinical development of the team by developing and delivering training sessions, workshops, and resources for CPD sessions.
  • Monitor supervisee progress, and escalate concerns about performance, conduct, or wellbeing to line managers as needed.

Additional Responsibilities dependent on business demand

  • Support quality assurance through proofreading and reviewing reports to ensure accuracy and fitness for purpose, when required.
  • Undertake department-specific projects to support service goals, including resource development.
  • Participate in triage processes to prioritise and allocate cases effectively.

What we are looking for

 

We are looking for a qualified Business Psychologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and experience in the neurodiversity field. The ideal candidate will have strong report-writing skills and a proven ability to deliver effective workplace assessments and consultancy services. 


You should be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of assistive technologies and workplace adjustments, as well as experience designing and delivering neuro-inclusive projects. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is a commitment to providing evidence-based guidance and fostering inclusive workplace practices.

Hours

 

This is a full time position, 37.5 hours a week, working 7.5 hour days with flexibility between our core hours of 8am and 6pm.

Location

 

The role is home-based, although some travel may be required to client sites throughout the UK as and when required.

Salary

 

The salary for this role is between £36,000K and £40,000K depending on experience and qualifications.
