Role Outline

As our Neurodiversity team continues to grow, we are looking for a Business Psychologist to join us on either a part-time (22.5 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) basis, between Monday to Friday. Our core hours are between 8am to 6pm.

 

As a Business Psychologist, you will be meeting with our clients and employers to conduct workplace needs assessments, utilising your strong understanding of neurodiversity to identify any barriers in the workplace and how to overcome these.

 

This role will be home-based, however further occasional travel to client sites may be required throughout the UK as required. 

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Identifying and making suitable recommendations for appropriate reasonable adjustments that will make a lasting impact to the employee.
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of assistive technologies, specialist equipment and products that may be useful for the client that links closely to their specific job requirements.
  • Delivering training and/or coaching which will support the individual within the workplace in field of expertise.
  • Collating and compiling competent reports that are fit for purpose.
  • Delivering face to face or virtual assessments.
  • Meeting SLAs by completing highly accurate reports within the agreed timescales.
  • Working holistically with other professionals within our multidisciplinary team of healthcare practitioners.
  • Maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
  • Positively contributing to the team’s contracted KPI targets
  • Assisting in related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and/or projects as needed.
  • Providing appropriate occupational/business psychology consultancy to clients and senior managers to support neuroinclusion in the workplace.
  • Acting as a significant point of contact for clients during their neuro-inclusive journey.
  • Defining the client problems to be addressed, develop solutions in collaboration with clients and communicate proposed solutions and their benefits. This may include elements such as develop, implement and evaluate employee selection procedures, HR policies, environmental and technological changes across the organisation, ensuring inclusive communication to customers and suppliers.
  • Providing evidence-based advice and guidance to clients on how specific interventions can support their requirements.

Qualifications and Essential Skills Required

  • Chartered membership with British Psychological Society (BPS)  
  • ABP Certified Business Psychologist (minimum) 
  • Applied experience working with Neurodivergence (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, DCD, Tourette’s) (essential)
  • Experience of delivering training in group situations and providing one-to-one coaching. 
  • Experience of helping organisations address issues in a meaningful way around diversity, inclusion and belonging. 
  • Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and reasonable adjustments. 
  • Extensive knowledge of a range of up-to-date assistive technology equipment, software packages and other specialised adaptations.  
  • Experience in delivering trainings to clients on a range of neurodivergence.

Salary

We are offering a competitive salary between £36,000 to £40,000 FTE (pro-rata to hours worked) for this position, dependent on qualifications and experience.
