Role Outline

As a Business Analyst at Health Partners, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the integration of our digital products and operational services to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients, patients, and staff. This role extends beyond traditional system analysis, focusing on the entire service ecosystem. You will adopt a service-oriented approach to business analysis, working collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers, and operational stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically viable, operationally efficient, and aligned with user needs. From mapping current and future-state journeys to defining detailed requirements and supporting delivery from discovery to adoption, you will be instrumental in driving service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and design holistic service experiences by mapping both business processes and end-to-end journeys of internal and external users.
Map front-stage (user-facing) and back-stage (operational) processes to identify friction points, gaps, and opportunities for service improvement and automation.
Develop detailed process flow diagrams, service blueprints, and documentation using industry-standard modelling techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and prioritise business and service requirements.
Design and recommend system improvements that enhance service delivery and operational productivity.
Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate workshops and interviews to capture nuanced business and user needs.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed improvements.
Monitor and measure the impact of implemented changes against predefined performance metrics.
Partner with Product Managers and Designers to ensure new product features are embedded within coherent, efficient, and scalable services.
Deliverables include:
Current and future-state service maps and process diagrams.
Refined business and operational requirements.
Functional specifications and user stories.
Change impact assessments.
Workshop artefacts and playback decks.
Performance metrics tracking reports.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of system architecture and integration principles, coupled with experience in service and process mapping techniques. Proficiency in business process modelling tools and advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, are essential.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as a critical thinking mindset to solve complex problems. Familiarity with business intelligence tools and exposure to service design principles or methodologies will be advantageous, alongside experience in regulated environments such as healthcare and agile product development lifecycles.

The salary for this role is competitive based on experience and qualifications.
