Role Outline

We are excited to recruit an experienced, friendly, and professional Receptionist to join the team at Jaguar Land Rover. Acting as the first point of contact for visitors both face-to-face and via telephone, the chosen candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Centre. You will be responsible for managing the reception area, coordinating team diaries, and carrying out various administrative and support duties. This is an excellent opportunity to support JLR’s ground-breaking Centres for Wellbeing initiative, which focuses on the three wellbeing pillars: Mind, Body, and Life.
Key Responsibilities
- Often being the first point of contact for the service. Excellent customer service skills are required to help support the trial blazing project.
- Taking meeting notes and producing minutes e.g. Team Management Meeting
- Use of multiple databases and internet systems for recording of statistics
- To have a genuine interest in Health and Wellbeing
- Managing clinician diaries and supporting the smooth running of the Centre for Wellbeing
- Manage the reception desk, greeting and signing in visitors attending on-site clinics and client visits. Ensure visitors are informed of Health and Safety regulations.
- Answer reception calls, transferring to relevant colleagues or departments, or taking messages and emailing them to the appropriate person.
- Provide support for on-site health promotion activities.
- Support with typing, creating PowerPoint presentations, scanning, and printing.
- Carry out general administration duties to support the team.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, with prior experience and excellent IT proficiency, including the use of database systems, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs and demonstrate great attention to detail, the ability to prioritise a busy schedule, and the capability to work independently. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with clients and health professionals. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to maintain discretion when handling confidential medical matters is key.
We are looking for someone self-motivated, flexible, and with a keen interest in health and wellbeing, who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.

Hours
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Solihull, where the chosen candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

Salary
The salary for this role is £24,000K per annum.
