Role Outline

We are looking for an experienced and friendly Receptionist to join our team based across multiple JLR  (Jaguar Land Rover) sites. In this role you will be responsible for managing the reception area and facilities.

You will be working predominantly across two sites, Castle Bromwich and Coventry, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. However there may be a need to work across some of our other sites including Gaydon, Whitley and Solihull. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel to different sites.

To be considered for the role you would have experience with booking appointments and diary management, have good verbal and written skills and be strong with IT. The team is small, therefore you will need to be comfortable with working independently. 

Training onsite will be provided over a two week period in Castle Bromwich, following the training period you will be given online support. 

 

 

What you'll be doing

  • To manage the reception desk, greeting and signing in visitors attending for on-site clinics and client visits. Ensuring visitors are aware of the Health and Safety regulations whilst on site.
  • Answer reception calls and transfer to relevant colleagues/department or take messages and email to colleagues
  • To open post (except post marked confidential) and pass to relevant department
  • To book couriers as and when required, managing parcels in and out of the building
  • Manage stationery cupboard, ordering supplies as and when required
  • Ordering supplies for Kitchen, teas, coffees etc. as and when required.
  • Support Director with typing, PowerPoint, scanning, printing etc.
  • To carry out administration duties
  • To assist with facilities management, booking any works required, ordering keys, liaising with property management.
  • Ordering of lunches for meetings 

Skills

Good IT skills to include the use of database systems, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Clear communication with excellent customer service skills
Strong administrative skills and prior experience
Able to prioritise own workload and manage own time, self-motivated and capable of working flexibly and to strict deadlines using own initiative
Excel
Excellent grammatical English, both written and verbal
Excellent internal and external communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

Education & Qualifications

GCSEs in English

Salary

The salary for this role is £22,503K per annum, plus £2,000K travel allowance.
