Role Outline

Health Partners have an exciting opportunity for experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

The Occupational Health Nurse is an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care that our clients receive.

This role requires an ability to assess and manage minor injury and illness, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals.

It is a full time position where the successful candidate will work Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm, on our clients site based in Acton.

What you'll be doing:

  • Full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract including wellbeing assessments, health promotion, advice and education, health surveillance, safety critical medicals, travel health, travel assessments, vaccinations, D&A testing etc. following DHC guidelines and written instructions.
  • Providing professional advice, support and guidance.
  • Assessing new clients presenting to Occupational Health.
  • Assessing individuals' fitness to work for the appropriate job role.
  • Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
  • Supporting the OH Manager to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the OH team.
  • Providing health surveillance.
  • Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice.

Remote Working Disclaimer

Skills

Experience working within A&E/intensive care
Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable
Registered Nurse (Part 1)

Education & Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health
Diploma

Salary

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £37,000 per annum dependant on experience 

Certifications

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
