We are currently recruiting for a talented musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team based in Rosyth, on a full time basis. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team both on-site and remotely, you'll demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to supporting employees with their MSK health, and supporting the delivery of an exceptional occupational health service to our client. This is a great opportunity for a qualified individual to expand their skillset and experience in a supportive team environment, in a great location only a stone's throw away from the coast, with the flexibility of hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions on a face-to-face and remote basis.
- Classifying presenting musculoskeletal disorders into work-relatedness categories.
- Preparing reports for management, detailing fitness to work and recommending adjustments, either short-term, long-term, or permanent.
- Leading on-site exercise classes to rehabilitate employees with musculoskeletal injuries.
- Communicating effectively with the wider occupational health team.
- Conducting DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments and offering prophylactic advice.
- Recommending changes or equipment required following DSE assessments.
- Identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risk of these hazards causing or aggravating MSK ill health.
- Conducting ergonomic risk assessments with Safety, Health & Environment advisors to identify risks within specific areas.
- Advising the occupational health team on work practice or environment changes needed on a short- or long-term basis.
- Effectively rehabilitating employees with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not.
- Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
- Collecting statistical information to support report generation.
- Contributing to or running health promotion events.
- Mentoring university students during placements, as opportunities arise.
What we are looking for
We are looking to hear from a dedicated and experienced MSK Physiotherapist, who meets most or all of the following criteria:
Essential Requirements:
- Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- A minimum of 4 years' post-graduate experience, including at least 2 years specialising in musculoskeletal care.
- Proficient in IT and comfortable using relevant systems.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in providing health education and promotion advice.
- Knowledge of basic workplace ergonomics and fitness for work assessments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Customer-focused, flexible, efficient, and highly organised.
- Able to plan and prioritise work to achieve objectives set in collaboration with the Occupational Physiotherapy Manager.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Post-graduate training in Occupational Health or Ergonomics.
Full membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Membership of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).

Hours
This role is full time (37.5 hours per week), working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Location
We can offer hybrid working for this role, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week on-site at Rosyth, Scotland / up to 3 days per week working remotely from home.

Salary
We are offering a competitive salary of up to £41,000 per annum for this position, depending on qualifications and experience.
