Key Responsibilities
- • Complete all work to a high standard within required time limits
• Co-ordination and maintenance of diaries/appointments for all clinical staff
• General admin including the uploading of clinical notes and other documentation as required
• Maintenance of own computer files and emails
• Taking telephone calls and answering emails
• Meet and greet on site duties
• Additional administrative duties for clinical staff as and when required
• Use of multiple databases and internet systems for recording of stats
• Releasing of medical reports to patients and clients following GDPR guidelines
• Communicating with GP/Specialists
• Liaising with various parties to progress cases efficiently and flagging any issues to team leaders
• Referring patients to third parties for treatment / assessments
• Working with the Health Surveillance team when required
• Any other adhoc tasks set out by the team leaders
What we are looking for
We are looking for a candidate with strong administrative skills. While previous experience in a similar environment would be beneficial, it is not essential. The successful candidate will have strong PC and software skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Professionalism is essential for this role, alongside excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently, using their own initiative. Strong communication and customer service skills are important, as the role involves liaising with clients and engaging with staff at all levels.
The role requires working collaboratively as part of the Occupational Health team, supporting health professionals and ensuring effective communication across the organisation. The candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and maintain discretion when handling confidential information, whether over the phone, via email, or in person. Strong organisational and time management skills are also key to managing the demands of this role
Hours
The role is full-time 37.5 hours per week, 7.5hours per day, where you will be expected to work during the core hours between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Location
This role is based in Derby and you will have the opportunity to work from home one day a week following an initial training period.
Salary
This is a fully remote position, offering a set salary of £24,000 per annum.
