We are recruiting a Occupational Health Manager (OHA) Clinical Lead - to provide clinical leadership and guidance to our Clinical Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based health and wellbeing services for client employees at their site in Barrow-in-Furness. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving clinical excellence, fostering team development, and meeting organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of clinical pathways in line with best practice.
- Collaborate with directors and managers to implement company objectives, including reviewing clinical competencies and materials.
- Provide leadership to the clinical team to align with the strategic goals of the clinical and occupational health (OH) service.
- Foster a positive and supportive team culture, promoting the company’s core values.
- Develop and support initiatives to address client needs, targeted wellbeing programmes, and company objectives.
- Assist with the recruitment, selection, and induction of multidisciplinary team members.
- Coordinate resources to meet shift requirements and monitor team skill mix.
- Undertake clinical competency reviews, audits, and performance evaluations, including annual reviews and probation meetings.
- Collaborate with the management team to oversee daily clinical service operations and resolve conflicts.
- Utilise management information to enhance service delivery, support health surveillance, and build client relationships.
- Oversee the calibration, servicing, repair, and replacement of clinical equipment.
- Ensure adherence to company processes, Department of Health guidelines, health and safety regulations, and accreditations such as SEQOHS.
- Prioritise clinical and occupational health needs based on risk assessments.
- Provide advice, mentoring, and regular audits of clinical practices within the OH team.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a confident and innovative professional with a strong clinical background in an Occupational Health setting.
As a registered nurse with the NMC (Part 1), you will possess proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment. Strong IT literacy and the capacity to support and inspire a multidisciplinary team are essential for this role.

Hours
This is a full-time, on-site role, offering a structured work schedule from Monday to Thursday (7.15am - 4pm) and Friday (7.15am - 11.45am).
Location
This is an onsite role, working at our clients site at Barrow in Furness
Salary
We are offering a competitive salary for this position, depending on qualifications and experience, we may also be able to include a relocation package
